The Seven Ups

1.         Wake Up!
Make the conscious decision to have a good day. Then dedicate the day to praise God in everything.
“This Is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” RSV Ps. 118:24
2.         Face Up!
The best way to put On a new face is to smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks. The longest word in the English language is ~Smiles’, because there is a mile between the two ‘S’s.
"... man looks on the outward appearance but the Lord looks on the heart.”1Sam. 16:7
3.         Shut Up!
Only say nice things to people and learn to listen. God gave us two ears and one mouth, so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking.
“He who guards his mouth preserves his life: he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. Prov.13:3
4.         Stand Up!
Stand up today for what you believe in. Stand for something or you will fall for anything.
“And let us not grow weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.“ Gal.6:9-10
5.         Look Up!
Look to the Lord in all things.
“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let all men know your forbearance. The Lord is at hand. Have no anxiety about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God," Phil. 4:4-6
6.         Reach Up!
Reach for something higher.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.“ Prov. 3:5-6
7.         Lift Up!
Relentlessly lift up your prayer praises and your prayer requests to heaven.
“Rejoice always. Pray constantly give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thes.5:l6-18
