| Cow's Milk Causes More Allergies |

from "Rust Out" by Dr Bailey page 99 Cow’s milk causes more allergies than any other food. Typically people are allergic to the proteins in the milk, not the lactose (the sugar in milk), as commonly thought. It is suggested that insulin dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM-type 1) in children is characterized by an autoimmune destruction of their pancreatic beta cells from albumin in cow’s milk. If milk upsets your stomach, causes sinus congestion, constipation, or if you have frequent ear infections, I ask my patients to consider halting their milk consumption for at least two weeks to see if the troubling symptoms disappear. I do this so that when they restart the milk and the symptoms return, I can encourage them to quit using milk altogether. References: Andrew I.
