Vitamin A Overdose Print E-mail
from "Rust Out" by Dr. Royce Bailey, page 53

Too much Vitamin A can weaken bones, thus, increasing the chance of having a fracture.  No one should get more than 1.5 milligrams (mg) per day.  Women need .07 mg a day and men only .09 mg a day of Vitamin A.  You can become toxic if you regularly eat liver, milk, fish and fish oil (omega-3 capsules) combinations.  Check fish oil labels and multivitamins for Vitamin A content and don’t eat liver (the body’s waste filter).  Restrict your Vitamin A to 5000 units or 1.5 mg a day.  There is no reason to take Vitamin A supplements on a plant based diet.

It’s Official, Ultraviolet Radiation Is A Carcinogen

Medical science has been warning about the dangers of both natural and artificial ultraviolet radiation (UVR) to the skin.   UVR causes DNA damage, suppression of the immune system, and mutations in the p53 tumor suppressor gene.  There are 228 compounds listed as known or probable causes of cancer in humans, ranging from environmental tobacco smoke, various environmental pollutants to radon.  Now add UVR (from sunshine and tanning machines) as a known human carcinogen.
